Fun for the fourth
Hi all, Been a good couple of weeks here. among other things many of my friends will be in the area from out of state and way up north next weekend so that's keeping me going... I have pulled myself out of my online gaming addiction... So I've been working on projects that I've been wanting to .. Been doing a lot of writing on the earthdawn supplements I've been wanting to do... I have also been horridly addicted to online comics (guess I'm an addictive sort a' girl) some of the better ones everyone should check out are ..............................
http://www.thewotch.com/
This is about this girl who's a powerful witch (the wotch) and her friends... the best way I can explain it is its kind of like a comic book Buffy..... but don't think its a knock off... its completely its own thing..... its just buffy is the only thing I can think of thats like it
http://www.shortpacked.com/
This story kills me... its about a bunch of people who work in a toy store.. I wish I could explain it further its just Willis (the writer) has a certain geeky style that a few of his joke have me laughing months later...... (batman makes everything funnier) he has another comic named roomies that is his older project... i'm only halfway through those... they are brilliant as well, but not as polished as Shortpacked.

ok i know a lot of my comics are "trans" in nature, but thats because I got into online comics because of Venus envy (see below) however even though Ash in this comic was a boy and now is a girl its quite a bit different... You see there are angels that file everything in the universe and where your filed is what ou are.... well Ash gets.. guess what ...Misfiled.. and all sorts of weirdness happens from there.... The art on this series is top notch and it kind of reminds me of Ah! my Goddess which is one of my favorite anime of all time... Its cute and oddly enough has a lot to do with cars...(odd in that I can barely keep mine running)

This is it the comic that started my interest in online comics.... I found it because when I used to go to the Transgender Boards all the time everyone talked about how horrible the "VE" boards were... so I went to check it out... well the boards were just as rough as they said but the comic actually made me laugh and made me cry... I know it seems cliched but its true.... laugh is easy but cry thats a different matter all together only one other has managed that from me.............
http://www.dolari.org/cs/
and speaking ofm Closetspace is the other that tends to pull on my heart strings.... Jenn (Dolari) has a way of telling a story that while in comic form seems quite real.. I think it may have to do with her robotech-esque/photo artstyle (which is a winner for me everyday of the week) and the factthat the stories she tells are so real that I have thought on occasion.. yea I remember that .. that was bad...... I know my review here is not as good as the comic but she does make you feel for the characters....
well I've rambled enough... I hope everyone gets a chance to check out at least a few... these are the best i've found and I'll be sure to let you know if find more.... all of you do the same and let me know if you find some that you think I'll like

What an action-packed update, Amy!
Online comics are too fun. Thanks for the heads up on some of them!
My favorites are pvponline, and Order of the Stick--awesome gamer and RPG humor ;)
And yes! We must get together for GenCon! Get with me on that!
